Heather Roush is a managing director in the Andersen US National Tax Office and is a member of the Andersen ASC 740 Services and Tax Accounting Methods teams. Heather has over 16 years of tax experience working with both private and public companies.
A large amount of Heather’s experience relates to advising clients on accounting for income taxes, and review of consolidated federal and multi-state corporate and pass-through tax compliance projects. In particular, Heather helps engagement teams with:
- Complex income tax accounting issues
- Uncertain Tax Positions (FIN 48), including issues related to effectively settled positions, and related disclosures
- Valuation allowance evaluations and related documentation
- Implementing quarterly and annual income tax provision processes and tools
- Deferred and effective tax rate reviews
- Tax accounting for mergers, acquisitions, and discontinued operations
- Performing accounting method reviews and implementing accounting method changes
- Preparation of complex inventory method calculations
