Jessica Hawn

Jessica Hawn is a Managing Director in the Andersen US National Tax office. Jessica serves as an Andersen firm-wide resource on complex inventory accounting method and period matters. She advises corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and individuals on a broad variety of complex accounting methods tax matters, including assisting with IRS examinations and the filing and implementation of accounting method changes with the IRS National Office.

Jessica’s experience includes working with both public and private companies across a broad array of industries including manufacturing, distribution, software, retail, and oil and gas. She has years of experience advising clients on various accounting method and period matters including inventory valuation, capitalization, timing of income recognition, timing of deductions, cost recovery, and overall accounting method matters. In this role, Jessica is a frequent speaker on tax accounting method matters.

Prior to joining Andersen, Jessica was a part of Deloitte’s National Federal Tax Solutions practice specializing in tax accounting methods. Jessica spent a significant portion of her time advising clients on complex inventory accounting method issues.
