Dimitra Gkanatsiou has been a key member of Andersen Legal in Greece for over 15 years, showcasing outstanding leadership and expertise in Corporate, Commercial, and M&A sectors. Recently promoted to partner, she continues to lead the Corporate & Commercial practice, where her profound knowledge in corporate law, commercial transactions, and mergers & acquisitions continues to drive successful client outcomes.

Throughout her career, Dimitra has advised on a broad spectrum of legal matters, from everyday corporate operations to sophisticated, transformative transactions that shape the future of businesses. Her extensive experience includes, among others, conducting due diligence, corporate reorganizations, debt and equity financing, as well as the negotiation of high-value commercial, civil, and real estate contracts.

Prior to joining Andersen Legal, Dimitra served as Senior In-House Counsel at one of Greece’s leading construction companies, listed on the Athens Stock Exchange. In this role, she managed complex contracts for major projects, provided counsel on corporate governance and stock exchange announcements, and led the reorganization of the group’s companies.

This dual experience as both in-house and external counsel has provided her with a unique perspective, enabling her to offer comprehensive legal solutions that are finely tuned to the needs of our clients.
