Giorgi, Marco

Marco Giorgi specializes in corporate law and Japanese law. He also has extensive experience in M&A, financial markets regulations, corporate governance, legal and financial structuring and venture capital sourcing.

Marco has gained skills on corporate consulting (articles of association, by-laws and shareholders’ agreements), creation of joint ventures, compliance with the administrative liability of legal entities (with the provisions of Law n. 231), extraordinary transactions, preliminary legal planning, organizational models, corporate process mapping, information technology and fintech.

In 2012, Marco established a law firm operating in the field of corporate law and financial markets law, with a focus on the Japanese market. Previously, he had worked for a prestigious American law firm where he assisted clients (both issuers and banks) in the listing procedures and in several cross-border M&A transactions.

Marco is adjunct professor of Commercial Law at Accademia della Guardia di Finanza (Academy of the Italian tax law enforcement agency), assistant professor and honorary fellow to the Chairs of Commercial Law, Financial Markets Law and Comparative Private Law at the Rome University Tor Vergata. He is also an author of several publications in the field of comparative corporate law and financial markets regulation.

Marco is currently a member of the Executive Committee of Andersen in Italy for the Rome office.

He won a scholarship for a Ph.D. in Law including areas in contemporary experience, comparative law and Roman law system.
