Ivan Gasco is a partner at Andersen in Italy. He specializes in M&A advisory to medium and large sized companies, both domestic and international, with a focus on the real estate sector (and including financial advisory). He also assists entrepreneurial families in planning and managing their assets and personal interests.
Given his broad expertise and thanks to a highly professional team, Ivan’s activities range from extraordinary corporate transactions (mergers, contributions, transfers of business, etc.) to the drafting of expert reports and fairness opinions; from the formation of business plans and financial plans to the introduction of management control systems; from national and international tax planning to tax and accounting due diligence for M&A; from the launch of innovative start-ups to business crisis management (distressed assets, debt restructuring, composition, etc.); from wealth planning for HNWIs to generational changeover issues in family businesses; and from corporate finance (capital increases, bond issues, new bank debt, etc.) to subsidised finance (tax credits, public grants and funds).
Ivan has a long and consolidated experience as financial advisor in M&A and real estate transactions, as well as in business combinations between companies (joint ventures), intervening both in the research and selection of investment opportunities and in the structuring of the transaction and subsequent contractual negotiations between the parties.
He is chairman and member of the Board of Statutory Auditors in many companies, including those belonging to listed groups or supervised by the Bank of Italy, as well as chairman and member of various Supervisory Bodies pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/00.
