Giovanni Gallucci

Giovanni is a partner at Andersen in Italy, taxation and several Italian and foreign multinational groups on local tax compliance and international taxation matters, including extraordinary transactions, M&A transactions, and business reorganization.

He has extensive knowledge and experience in taxation of real estate transactions, advising institutional and private clients in the purchase and development of real estate assets and in the investment in both Italian and foreign real estate funds.

He advises multinational groups on projects regarding the development and implementation of an effective tax-control framework (TCF) aimed at improving risk-assessment procedures and strengthen the corporate governance.

Giovanni supports his clients during tax investigation and litigation, including tax settlement procedures.

He assists individuals, resident in Italy or not, in relation to the computation of their level of direct taxation (e.g. tax implications of employee's benefits and incentive plans; tax treatment of specific components of the remuneration, also upon termination of the employment agreement; tax treatment of inbound and outbound expatriates, and definition of a tax residency checklist).

Giovanni has expertise in digital economy taxation and is the primary contact advisor of IAB Italia (Interactive Advertising Bureau) for tax issues related to this sector.
