Maurizio Ferrero is a partner at Andersen in Italy, speciazlizing in domestic and international taxation as well as corporate and business advisory.
He advises large bodies of wealth (investment funds, HNWIs, foundations, holding companies, securitization vehicles) on financial and real estate investments, domestic and international taxation, and succession tax planning.
He has specific expertise in domestic and cross-border M&A, including distressed ones, and in business valuation, structuring of the transactions, and tax and financial due diligence.
He advises on financial income taxation and assists national and multinational groups operating in wealth asset management and in the yachting, automotive, fashion, energy, and manufacturing sectors. He also assists non-profit entities.
Maurizio serves as a member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of companies supervised by the Bank of Italy, as well as belonging to international groups. He serves as a member of the supervisory board of listed and unlisted companies. He chaired the Board of Statutory Auditors of listed companies.
Maurizio taught tax law at the University of Turin - School of Business Administration (1998-2008) and is the author of several articles in professional journals.
