Fabio M. With over two decades of experience as an economist focusing on global financial markets and macroeconomic policy, Fabio offers invaluable perspectives on how to navigate an increasingly complex global economic landscape.
As CEO of the Andersen Institute, Fabio focuses on emerging global themes such as technological innovation and AI, climate change and decarbonization, geopolitics and fragmentation, rising levels of public debt, and demographics. The aim is to influence public discourse and provide insights and strategic direction to businesses and governments worldwide.
Before joining Andersen, Fabio served as Deputy Director of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), overseeing the Global Financial Stability Report and monitoring global financial markets. His prior roles included senior positions at the Federal Reserve Board and the U.S. Department of Treasury, where he contributed to shaping economic and financial policies both domestically and internationally.
