Juan Ignacio Alonso Dregi

Juan Ignacio Alonso Dregi is currently a partner in the Corporate and M&A practice at Andersen and managing partner of the Barcelona office.

Previously, he has developed his career in firms such as Ceca Magán, Dentons, and Garrigues.

He has more than 25 years of experience in which he has advised many companies in mergers and acquisitions, in investments of Spanish companies in their internationalisation processes and in the establishment of foreign companies in Spain. He has also participated in restructuring operations in various sectors, with particular experience in real estate, automotive and retail.

In the academic field, he is coordinator and professor of the Master's Degree in International Law, Foreign Trade and International Relations at ISDE, as well as the Master's Degree in International Law at ISDE. He is also Honorary Consul of the Republic of Malta for Catalonia and Aragon.
