Bernabé de Marcelino is a partner in the tax law department at Andersen in Spain’s Madrid office.
He has nearly 20 years of experience, during which he has accumulated in-depth knowledge of direct, indirect, and local taxation for financial institutions, as well as the taxation of their products and services. Throughout his career, he has advised banks, asset managers, venture capital firms, fintechs, and payment institutions, both nationally and internationally.
Bernabé de Marcelino specialises in retail, wholesale and private banking, asset management, alternative investments, private equity, venture capital, real estate and payment services. He has also participated in important reorganisation processes in the Spanish financial system, including acquisitions and corporate restructuring. He also has experience in tax proceedings and inspections, international taxation, global project coordination, and regulatory adaptation.
