Rafał Ciołek

Rafał has 24 years of experience in tax advisory. He specializes in corporate income tax with experience in carrying out complex, multifunctional and cross-border projects.

Prior to joining Andersen, Rafał was a Partner at KPMG where he led the Corporate Income Tax group. He has also previously worked for Deloitte and Arthur Andersen. His experience includes working with matters related to international tax, commercial and copyright laws as well as industries such as real estate and telecom. 

In three consecutive years (2014, 2015 and 2016), Rafał was elected the best Corporate Income Tax expert in Poland in the ranking of tax advisory companies and tax advisors by the Polish broadsheet Rzeczpospolita.

Rafał has authored several articles on Polish tax law and is actively involved in the legislative process where he took part as an expert on parliamentary commissions and working groups at the Ministry of Finance. He played a pro bono role as the Chairman of the Direct Taxes group (CIT and PIT) of the Tax Council at Konfederacja Lewiatan, one of the Polish biggest employers’ organizations.
