Christy Peterson is a Managing Director in the Valuation practice. She has experience with the valuation of closely-held businesses, business interests, intangible assets, intellectual property, debt instruments, and derivatives (including stock options and option-embedded securities). These engagements were conducted for a variety of purposes, including mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, litigation support, strategic planning, and tax planning and reporting.

Services provided on recent engagements include:

• Purchase price allocations and impairment analyses related toFASB ASC Topics 805 and 350, including preparation of responsesrelated to comments from auditors
• Common stock valuations for tax planning and financial reporting tocomply with Sec. 409A of the Internal Revenue Code and FASBASC Topic 718 regulations
• Valuation consulting related to tax planning and compliance,including appraisals performed for estate and gift tax reporting, anddomestic and international tax planning (including reorganizations,restructuring and ownership/control changes)
