Chinedu Ezomike is a partner and the head of the commercial practice group at Andersen (Nigeria), with over 17 years of experience in the provision of professional tax and regulatory services to clients in various industries. He leads the team that provides professional tax and regulatory services to companies in various sectors including, consumer markets, industrial, transport, and financial services.
He has worked with various corporate clients to define their tax strategies and develop unique solutions to optimize their tax processes and transform the tax function for enhanced efficiency. He has wide-ranging experience providing tax & and business advisory services to leading companies in Nigeria.
His tax and regulatory experience covers corporate tax planning, tax due diligence, tax advisory, and compliance for local and multinational companies in various industries. He has advised several companies on income tax issues, indirect tax management, corporate tax structuring, and regulatory compliance.
Chinedu has led several advocacy efforts aimed at improving the tax environment in Nigeria; the latest was focused on resolving industry issues relating to the taxation of international shipping companies and airlines in Nigeria. He has also worked with several companies in resolving tax disputes with various tax authorities.
