Charles Fisher, Jr.

Charlie Fisher is a managing director in Andersen's Tampa office and brings over 30 years of experience in public practice to his role. Before joining Andersen, Charlie was a founding shareholder in the firm of Reilly, Fisher & Solomon, P.A. (RFS).

Charlie's professional journey is marked by his deep expertise in individual, estate, trust taxation, and personal financial planning. His keen interest in individual taxation and investment analysis has led him to specialize in investment taxation issues and tax-efficient charitable giving. Charlie's strong background in wealth transfer matters, estate and gift tax planning, and advanced partnership taxation further underscores his comprehensive understanding of the field. He is well-versed in tax compliance for individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and S corporations.

Throughout his career, Charlie has been involved in investment advisory services. As a Chartered Financial Analyst, he has completed a rigorous three-examination series on investment theory and mathematics and consistently provides investment advice during his engagements. Charlie is also a Certified Financial Planner. Moreover, Charlie is involved in business valuation, having performed numerous appraisals and defended them before the IRS at the examination and Appeals Office levels. His publication in Valuation Strategies magazine further demonstrates his expertise, co-authoring "Valuation Discounts on Family Limited Partnerships: Why the Nature of the Underlying Assets Shouldn't Matter" (Jan/Feb 1999).

Prior to becoming a founding shareholder in RFS, Charlie was a manager in the Private Client Services practice of Arthur Andersen's Florida Market Circle Tax Division.
