Güniz Çelen

Güniz Çelen is the office managing partner at Andersen in Turkey, where she continues to shape the future of the industry with pioneering vision and expertise. Güniz is recognized as one of Turkey’s leading figures in valuation, investment strategies, and project development, with over 50 years of international experience.

Güniz began her career in international construction and investment projects, holding senior executive positions before founding ÇELEN Appraisal Center in 1995. Her leadership established one of the cornerstones of Turkey’s institutional valuation sector.

As one of the first women in Turkey to specialize in valuation, she became the founding honorary president of the Appraisers’ Association of Turkey and played a key role in aligning the profession with international standards. She is the first Turkish member of the Appraisal Institute USA, The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE), RICS, and ULI, and currently serves as board member of CRE’s European Chapter, representing Turkey at the highest international level.

Her contributions to the advancement of the profession have been honored with the prestigious Landauer/White Award. She remains deeply engaged in the development of ESG standards, serves as an expert witness at international arbitration courts and the Royal Courts of Justice in England, and continues to mentor the next generation of leaders through the Women Leaders in Real Estate movement, which she has initiated.
