Roberto Cavadini

As a Managing Partner and the Head of Corporate and Compliance at Andersen in Switzerland, Roberto's primary responsibility and expertise is the management, administration and compliance of Swiss and international companies of all sizes.

Furthermore, his consultancy services support the coordination and organization of business restructuring, inheritance planning (private and corporate) and internal compliance. He has significant international experience in corporate reorganization and migration of companies in and out of Switzerland.

As an international transactions expert, Roberto offers his clients a wide range of services, including advice on decisions of tax-efficient legal structures for foreign companies (corporations, partnerships, branches, representative offices), tax analysis of business financing methods and transfer of trademarks, patents or know-how, along with taxation of foreign businesses operating in Switzerland (permanent establishments, income from real estate, capital gains on sale of shares) and tax coordination for international companies.

Applying his in-depth understanding of the tax and legal implications of the distribution of wealth internationally, he advises companies, private clients and families on planning succession for businesses (with regard to property and other assets) through sale or management buy-out, succession planning within the family (e.g. testaments, marital and inheritance contracts), and tax and asset protection advice for beneficiaries.

Roberto also deals with estate settlement and can support inheritors in a dispute over inheritance. Additionally, he is the Swiss representative of the International Tax service line.
