Bryan Obermeier is a managing director within the Commercial practice bringing over 15 years of public accounting experience working with public and private clients. Bryan provides a range of consulting, planning, and compliance services on a variety of U.S. and international tax matters. Bryan has extensive knowledge of ASC 740 tax accounting, C Corporation compliance, partnership, and joint venture subsidiaries, and tax implications related to acquisitions and divestitures. He also has specialized in the accounting and tax treatment for equity compensation.
He has worked with multiple Fortune 50, Fortune 500, and start-ups across a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, technology, consumer products, biomedical, and telemedicine. Bryan currently serves as a lead of the Telemedicine practice at Andersen.
Prior to joining Andersen, Bryan spent over 10 years at PwC working in its audit and tax practices. During this time, Bryan worked on projects related to tax controls, SEC reporting, accounting for income taxes, compliance, and consulting.
