Brad Smerage is a managing director in the Private Client Services practice, bringing more than 30 years of experience advising clients on complex tax matters across a wide range of industries.
Brad’s areas of expertise include complex individual taxation, partnership and corporate income taxes, real estate and agricultural tax issues, and estate planning. Over the course of his career, he has developed deep expertise in equity compensation taxation, international tax reporting and withholding, like-kind exchange transactions, hedge fund and private equity investment reporting, and tax controversy support. He regularly works with closely held businesses and business owners, providing practical, strategic tax guidance tailored to their needs.
Prior to joining Andersen, Brad was a partner at Hamilton Juffer and Associates. Earlier in his career, he served as a tax director at RSM US LLP.
