Andrea De Vecchi

Andrea De Vecchi is the European Co-Managing Partner, working together with Paolo Mondia to manage the European practice and the growth of both the region and the organization as a whole. He works on evaluating companies and businesses through management control, the assistance and consulting in regard to general coordination, planning, and assistance for negotiations and contracts, as well as planning and finding financial resources in national and international M&A operations.

Andrea helps in designing and structuring companies, national and international, while advising on matters regarding company law and practices. He provides consulting on economic and financial issues for penal judges by taking an active role as the President and Member of audit committees.

He has gained a broad experience in the liquidation of companies as well as groups of companies, with or without provisional management. His experience also include working with settlements and arrangements between Partners in companies and the composition of compromises for opposing interests in general. Additionally, Andrea's specific expertise falls in the fields of pharmaceuticals, publishing, retail trade chains, large-scale distribution, hotels, real estate, mining, energy and new economy.

Furthermore, Andrea is a Member of various audit committees and supervisory boards. He has lectured at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Milan on topics of performance measurement and management (EVA), business valuation, continuity and planning, shareholders’ rights, use of trusts for income tax purpose, corporate law, and the use of the common law trust to buy out shareholders. He has also lectured at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore on business debt negotiation and judicial reorganization proceedings.

Andrea is also a co-author of the books Le Nuove Società (New Companies) and L’imposta sul reddito delle società (Tax on Company Income), both published by Il Sole 24 Ore.
