Oscar Alcantara

Oscar Alcantara is Managing Director, Associate Counsel in the Firm’s Chicago-based Legal Department. He assists with the firm’s intellectual property matters associated with the brand globally as well as international transactional matters. His specialty is intellectual property law, specifically trademark, copyright, right of publicity and advertising law.

Prior to Andersen, Oscar was the Chair of the Intellectual Property Group at Goldberg Kohn Ltd., where he worked as outside trademark counsel, and was responsible for worldwide trademark portfolios of other large, international brands. Oscar also counseled clients on branding, copyright issues, advertising and domain names.

Oscar has been the recipient of many awards, including the Leadership in the Law Award, awarded by National Diversity Counsel.
