Yichen Shepard

Yi Shepard has 20 years of public accounting tax experience serving clients from startups to large multinational enterprises. She has experience with a variety of industries, including alternative investments, software, semiconductor, biotechnology and other high technology disciplines. 

Yi’s experience includes domestic and international tax planning and compliance for hedge funds, fund of funds, consolidated corporate and multistate tax returns, cross-border transactions and intellectual property migration. Yi also has extensive experience with consulting on accounting for uncertain tax positions (FASB ASC 740) and internal controls of tax functions. 

Prior to Andersen, Yi worked with Arthur Andersen and EY.  

Yi is fluent in reading, writing and speaking Chinese.
